How to touch up eyelash extensions
When applying eyelash extension treatment, you also need to do a touch-up. In this article we will see how and when to do it.
In my previous article on “ how to remove eyelash extensions ”, I had already mentioned that I would also cover the topic of eyelash extension touch-ups . In fact, I have often met girls and clients who were not told that after applying false eyelashes, you also need to periodically take care of them and consequently, perform a touch-up of the treatment.
When to touch up eyelash extensions?
Unfortunately, eyelash extension treatment does not last forever and for this very reason , touch-ups must be done every 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
You should know in fact that eyelashes fall continuously as they follow their life cycle and at the same time as the natural eyelashes, the artificial ones also fall out.
What tools should I use to touch up my eyelash extensions?
- Saline solution : useful for cleaning and eliminating any traces of grease from the eyelashes;
- Micro Brush : disposable brushes for precise application of primer or for removing excess glue;
- Primer : essential for preparing the lashes for the extension treatment and promoting perfect adhesion between natural and artificial lashes;
- Tweezers : to precisely select the lashes and allow the removal and application of false lashes;
- False eyelashes : to replace the artificial eyelashes that are about to fall out. Obviously, they must be of the same type as those previously used for the application.
It is necessary to keep in mind that first you need to degrease and clean the eyelashes, after which thanks to the tools described above you can proceed to remove the false eyelashes and replace them with new extensions following the initial treatment scheme (natural effect, doll, etc.).
NB . For a correct touch-up, you need to evaluate, with the help of tweezers, the state of growth of the eyelashes, the aim is in fact to fill the empty spaces and remove and reposition the artificial eyelashes that are about to fall out.
Good work everyone!
