The 2nd edition of the highly acclaimed international competition “Lash Champions League” has been over for over a month but the thanks and feedback we receive are still not over. We are truly flattered by all the compliments we have received on the success of the competition and nowadays we know that positive reviews are worth more than anything else!

In this regard, we cannot keep this beautiful letter just for ourselves, written from the heart by a participant in the event of this 2017 edition, Sara Contento , to whom we say an immense thank you for several reasons!

Thank you for the letter you dedicated to us and thank you because you are an exemplary student! The Light Lashes Academy is very proud of your results, you are the living proof that those who with commitment and passion apply the techniques taught to perfection obtain the best results!

"June 10, 2017. My case and I are ready… or rather: it definitely is, I checked and rechecked it at least 20 times, taking everything out and repositioning each individual tool, saying their respective names out loud: patch, primer, microbrush, underwire, glue, curlers, oxidant, color, lotion 1, 2, 3….. as if they could answer “present” to the roll call just made!

I have always been fascinated by the magnetic power of a penetrating gaze and so, a bit for fun, I entered the world of Eyelash Extensions and never left.

And here I am entering the NH Hotel in Orio al Serio to participate in the international eyelash extension and lamination competition: Lash Champions League 2017!

I didn't think so but I'm really nervous, it's the first time I sign up for a lash competition and I have no idea what to expect. I ask the hotel staff for directions but I'm betrayed by a hoarse and trembling voice. Help! But what am I doing here? My first instinct is to turn around and go home, but my legs, completely autonomously, follow a group of girls going up the stairs and I find myself in line to register for the competition.

I am amazed by the amount of people, the multitude of languages ​​I hear while waiting for my turn, the beautiful posters and banners I see and the familiar faces I can recognize in the crowd. Thanks to the internet and Facebook I “recognize” many names of famous and important lashmakers, judges and owners of brands that I know and use myself. It was like having my favorite singer or actor in front of me, so much so that I wanted to take pictures together and ask for an autograph. They must have thought I was crazy ;-)

All this emotion certainly didn't help me at the beginning of the competition. I can't concentrate and I do nothing but look around and stare at the row of lamps and beds in single file that fill the large room. I furtively spy on my neighbor on the bed and observe her way of carrying out the treatment. I take a deep breath and force myself to work as best I can even if, for the first few minutes, my hands don't stop shaking. I put on my headphones with my favorite music and finally I manage to get into the right rhythm. I put all my knowledge and experience into practice and incredibly the results obtained are beyond all my expectations!

I won first place! I hold the cup that was given to me in my hands, I smile and I still can't believe it. And to think that I didn't tell anyone that I was taking part in the race, the victory seemed quite unattainable knowing the strong competition present in the championship.

On this occasion I met many girls with my same unbridled passion for eyelashes, I had the opportunity to learn new things but above all this experience confirmed my great love for this particular and exciting field.

Oh… and I will never underestimate my abilities again! ;-)

Next year I will arrive even more prepared and more aware that what awaits me at the Lash Champions League 2018 can only be a new and splendid adventure!”
