An experiment with 2 cents!!

Does your client's eye stay half-closed during eyelash extension application? Here's how to fix it for 2 cents!

I'll tell you a secret: I AM NOT AN EASY CUSTOMER, I mean for eyelash extensions! hihihi and I don't envy my lashmaker, and dear friend Giulia at all: my student, collaborator, who is nothing other than a girl with infinite patience and skill!

So as we can see from the photo at the moment of application my eye remains half-closed (it is not completely closed), this causes if you proceed with the application, the consequences that we all know: burning, scalding of the white of the eye (due to the fumes of the cyanoacrylate), redness and, obviously, pain for 3-4 days after. In my case this was caused not by how the pad had been positioned, since we had tried many types of pads, placing them in all ways, but by the fact that my eye closed and closes exactly in that way (remaining half-closed)! However, this has never stopped my desire to have my adorable eyelashes!

What did we do?

I had heard about the technique of putting something cool on the eye before, and recently the well-known Hanna Putjato (from Great Britain) also published a post on Facebook about it. But since I only trust what I experience myself, we sterilized two 2 cent coins and glued them with a small piece of scotch tape on the eyelid... and here is the result:

1. The eye was closed , and I no longer had to squeeze it every time the master told me to.
2. I felt a pleasant coolness, which made my eyes relax (so much so that I even fell asleep!!!)
3. I could no longer see the lights : our eyelids being made up of thin skin, allow us to perceive the light pointed at our face used by the master, but using this technique I could not perceive it and this also made me relax!
4. At the master the cents didn't bother anyone
5. We completed the treatment in complete relaxation and with great success !

That said, my dear Lashmakers, never be afraid to experiment, obviously always respecting the safety rules!
