WHAT IS EYELASH LAMINATION?

Eyelash lamination is a professional treatment dedicated to natural eyelashes that allows you to curl them thanks to a very delicate permanent, helps to intensify the look thanks to the dye, nourishes the hairs and thickens them thanks to products based on keratin and peptides that act on the structure of the hair. ARE LASH FILLER AND EYELASH LAMINATION THE SAME THING?

Once upon a time there was a “ lash lift ”, a purely aesthetic treatment that curled the natural lashes. It was a permanent eyelash, just like the one you do to curl your hair but with much more delicate ingredients suitable for use on the eye area.

Then came the famous “lamination” and for years the eyelash industry used this term to indicate that treatment that in addition to curling the eyelashes was able to thicken them. There were no longer only aesthetic purposes but there was talk of curative purposes, which could repair even the thinnest and most frayed eyelashes. The sore point was the actual effectiveness of the treatment, as the thickening was always and only presumed.

HOW IS THE TREATMENT DONE? IS IT PAINFUL?

While the operator works on your lashes, you will be comfortably lying on a bed. You will be asked to keep your eyes closed for the entire duration of the treatment. The operator begins by stretching the lashes on a silicone curler, after which she applies the perming, dyeing and nourishing products to the hair. This is a completely painless procedure.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PRESERVE THE RESULT?

Immediately after performing the treatment, it is recommended not to wet the eyes for approximately 24 hours, so that the nourishing filler applied as the last step settles well inside the lashes, carrying out its nourishing action.

In the following weeks, it is not recommended to use aggressive makeup removers and cleansers, as well as low-quality cosmetics that could weigh down and ruin the eyelashes.

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AFTER LASH FILLER?

Makeup will be almost unnecessary given the intensity and openness that this treatment gives to the look. However, it is not prohibited, in fact this further accentuates the result of the Filler. If you want to maintain the result of the Lash Filler for a long time, however, it is recommended to use very delicate products that do not dry out the lashes or weigh them down. The best aftercare products that we recommend are:

CONTRAINDICATIONS OF LAMINATION

Lash Filler itself is not a dangerous treatment, but there are some cases in which it is not recommended because unexpected reactions could occur, for example: if you have recently undergone surgery or if you have recently had a permanent tattoo (eyebrows, eyeliner, etc.), if you are undergoing special treatments and your immune system is very weak, if you suffer from claustrophobia or epilepsy, if you have particular bumps in the eye area, if you are a minor or pregnant, while breastfeeding or in general if you are not in a healthy state.
